Sunset Tree
I know that is has been slow around here lately and its for good reason. My life has run into a bit of a lull financially and emotionally. Things are slow on the work front and this combined with some emotional turmoil has left me with a lack of creativity and drive. This stated, I do have a number of ideas and projects brewing in my mind for the future. I have gained access to a nice old photo enlarger and hope to begin work in a darkroom again sometime in the next couple of months. The only thing holding me back is money to buy the last few supplies and parts I need to get it going.
The idea of making prints in a darkroom again has gotten me quite excited and I look forward to seeing that first print appear there on the paper in front of me. Nothing else quite like it. I have also started gathering a loose collection of my cleaner digital work from the last couple of years to make available online for sale as physical prints through the printing service, Imagekind. Sort of an experiment more than anything. I will write more about that as images of mine become available there for purchase.
So today I was thinking about how little I have been posting here and I wanted to change that and get a new desktop up. The image above is actually about 2 years old and was taken in California on the coast near San Francisco. I nearly posted it back when I was posting images from that trip but let this one slip through the cracks because it was not one of my favorites. As I was looking through my old photos looking for images to make available as prints I came back across it and decided to share it as a desktop. The colors are pretty nice I I thought.
To download the desktop simply click or right click here to download the attached zip file and please respect the terms of use which can be found in the folder along with the image and enjoy!
